The SOS Website was developed by Chris Brown (of Marbrow Ltd) using the Joomla! Content Management System (CMS), an award-winning, open source solution that is freely available to everybody.

Many software developers have given their time and expertise, free-of-charge, to the development of Joomla! components and modules which extend the functionality of the core CMS. The SOS website makes use of several of these extensions which are credited here: AdsManager (Thomas Papin at JoomProd), Jobline (Olle Johansson at Jx Development), VirtueMart (Soeren Eberhardt at VirtueMart.net), JomBackup (Vince Wooll at JomRes).
