Swift Tower in Cambridge
In Spring 2011 an innovative project of a Swift Tower was erected in an urban reserve in Cambridge. This brilliant tower also looks good and contains some 220 Swift boxes held together in a supporting steel framework. In order to attract the birds to nest a CD of calls is being played when the birds are in breeding mode, and it is hoped that over the next few years a colony will begin to develop.

A new website which shows a picture of this from both sides is at: actionforswifts.blogspot.com
