1998A juvenile flew west off Brighton seafront (ES) at 09:40 BST on 27 October.*
1999An adult with an injured wing on pools behind the North Wall, Pagham Harbour (WS) on 2 October was found dead somewhile later.*
2000A juvenile flew E past Brighton's Palace Pier at 17:00 BST on 9 October. It was then seen to W of Newhaven Breakwater on 10th, off Splash Point, Seaford on 11th and at Newhaven Tidemills on 12th (all ES).*
A juvenile or first-winter off Galley Hill, Bexhill (ES) on 12 October.*
A juvenile at Pagham Hbr, North Wall (WS) on 14 October.*
A juvenile off Selsey Bill (WS) on 4 November landed on the beach before being disturbed by a dog.*
