Sighting Description
A late afternoon visit to the North Wall of Pagham Harbour during high tide produced the following sightings, 20 Little Egrets, 3 Grey Herons and 20+ Curlews on the the harbour grasses, over the pond 30 Swallows of which a good proportion were juvenile, 2 Swifts and a several Sand Martins and House Martins. Six Black-tailed Godwits feeding in the pond. A large flock of Canada Geese in the north fields along with another 30 Curlew and 40 Lapwing which were flushed by a dog walker and flew across to the harbour, on the harbour side of the wall 2 Grey Wagtails and 4 juvenile Wheatears. An enjoyable visit.
