Three Bitterns were the highlight from the viewpoint this morning, two birds departed from the main reedbed, while a third bird flew in from the direction of church. Other highlights included 27 Little Egrets leaving the roost and 3 Bearded Tits in flight. Back at Lime Kiln Cottage the Dartford Warbler was again present in the bramble srub nearest the cottage and by the Wader Pool. (www.rxwildlife.org.uk).
