Male Cuckoo seen flying over main lake tonight, Cetti's Warbler heard, Barn Owl hunting and managing to avoid the Kestrels which have been regularly mugging it (I've witnessed this for nearly a year now at this site). It managed to fly off with its' kill towards its' nest site. A flock of 20 Lapwing flew off N over Greatham Bridge and 50+ Swallows were hunting flies. Ten Teal and a Redshank in lake.
