From my vantage point high in Upperton overlooking Eastbourne Old Town, morning and evening I see a large group of Swifts soaring and screaming. I'd love to know where they're nesting. The only time I walked the streets trying to find evidence of nesting, there was not one swift to be seen. However, on every other evening I've counted up to ca. 40, some of which seem to be coming down close to the church but I can never catch where they're heading.
