Sighting Description

Thanks to Robert King for putting the Woodpigeon 'vis mig' phenomenon into a wider context - most interesting. During a 30 minute jog this morning I saw another 600+ 'wildebeest of the skies' moving west plus a Peregrine quartering low around Butlins main entrance. Star bird though was a Black Redstart flitting between Butlins carpark and the sea. Also glimpsed an interesting-looking chat/'start sp. (possible a second Black Redstart) in the area but as I approached it flitted under a car and despite getting on all fours to look for it (to the confusion of a nearby dog-walker!) couldn't get on it.
