| Sighting Description |
Fear not, Treecreepers nested this year in Preston Park, Brighton, using the elm tree closest to the citybound speed camera. I last caught a glimpse of one there about three weeks ago so I suspect that the young have fledged and the family has moved on now. A small number of Stock Doves have been feeding, morning and evening, among a larger mixed group of Wood and Feral Pigeons in the same part of the park. The stock doves seem to be much more easily disturbed by dog-walkers, or even passers-by, and consequently are difficult to get close to. |
