Grebes etc off Ferring

Sighting Description

I counted 287 Great Crested Grebes off Ferring/Kingston this morning (and earlier another 41 off Worthing as well a a dozen Gannets fishing well offshore) and ca. 70 Red-breasted Mergansers spread across the two sites; 24 Wigeon rested for a while before heading off W. The female Black Redstart was on the beach at Patterson's Walk.
