| Sighting Description |
Early signs of winterish things to come with ca. 50 Siskins over the zigzags and duck numbers building up on the North Brooks with 315 Wigeon, 32 Shoveler, 174 Teal, 2 Pintail and a couple of Tufted Duck. Still typical passage birds about though with 6 Yellow Wagtails from Winpenny, 3 Spotted Flycatchers about the reserve, and singles of Ruff, Green Sandpiper and Dunlin and ca. 20 Black-tailed Godwits, again on the North Brooks where Snipe were more in evidence than usual with 52 counted from the Hanger. |
