Sighting Description
Early signs of winterish things to come with ca. 50 Siskins over the zigzags and duck numbers building up on the North Brooks with 315 Wigeon, 32 Shoveler, 174 Teal, 2 Pintail and a couple of Tufted Duck. Still typical passage birds about though with 6 Yellow Wagtails from Winpenny, 3 Spotted Flycatchers about the reserve, and singles of Ruff, Green Sandpiper and Dunlin and ca. 20 Black-tailed Godwits, again on the North Brooks where Snipe were more in evidence than usual with 52 counted from the Hanger.
