It's really useful if map references are included in sighting postings. Unfortunately though, sightings sometimes come in with map refs that are way off target. Roger Jones has pointed me in the direction of an Ordnance Survey web page which explains how they work, so I've added a help button to the Edit Sighting Details form which opens up the OS web page in a new browser so it can be read while you're posting a sighting. |
