| Sighting Description |
A walk along the footpath by Ivy Lake around 9 - 9.30am produced my first Common Sandpipers of the year. Two individuals were seen, having been flushed from the water's edge. Plenty of warblers on show which included a Sedge Warbler, 5 Blackcaps, 4 Chiffchaffs, 4 Willow Warblers and a singing Reed Warbler. Just the one Common Tern on the lake and over a 100 Sand Martins over the water too. |
