Survey this morning at 07.45 produced a pair of Garganey on the northern edge of the central lake. Also a pair of Redshank and still good numbers of Wigeon and Teal and a few Gadwall and Shelduck. Migrants starting to appear in numbers now with 1 male Blackcap, 3 Willow Warblers, 4 Chiffchaff, 3 Whitethroats and at least two Sedge Warblers all in song at one point or another. Two Cetti's Warblers at full blast too.
