| Sighting Description |
The 10 Waxwings arrived at 0855 this morning just after a mass exodus of birders looking for other species elsewhere in the county. The three Bean Geese were at Ivy Lake and the Red-breasted Goose was present at East Head along with a few Golden Plover, 1 Greenshank and a Spotted Redshank. A Little Stint was feeding at Appledrum with a good number of various other waders. 17 Bewick's Swan were off Burpham and finally a Firecrest was at Coldwaltham sewerage works. Alas no raptors or Water Pipit there but an excellent day in almost spring like conditions. |
