| Sighting Description |
The first winter female SURF SCOTER was offshore from Ovingdean Beach this morning, although a very long way out. A Wheatear on the cliffs and a Razorbill offshore. At Newhaven Beach a 1st winter ICELAND GULL loafing on the rocks 500m west of the harbour entrance with mixed gull flock. Shoreham Harbour - Southwick Canal no sign of the Glaucous Gull. At Shoreham Harbour Fort, 2 Wheatears and female Black Redstart and at New Salts Farm, Shoreham 3 Sand Martins. A Mediterranean Gull and 7 Grey Plover on the River Adur by the airport.
