| Sighting Description | At Newhaven the ICELAND GULL west of western breakwater from 10.00 - 11.15 and 4 Eider east, including 2 adult males and 1 sub-adult. At Ovingdean from 11.45-13.00: Red-throated Diver - 4 E Manx Shearwater - 1W, Brent Goose - ca. 50E Velvet Scoter - 1 female/imm on sea, Common Scoter - 13 E, Mediterranean Gull - 4 adults E but no sign of the Surf Scoter in somewhat choppy conditions. | |
