Wanted: Experienced birders to become members of the SOS Records Committee (SOSRC).

As a member of SOSRC you will receive some 200 records a year for assessment. The Scarce Record Forms will be sent to you in batches as e-mail attachments with each batch containing 10-15 forms – often accompanied by photographs. You will need to assess each record solely on the merits of the description and then decide whether it is ‘Accepted’ or ‘Not Proven’ and give brief reasons for your decision.
