SOS AGM 2008

The Society's AGM will be held on Saturday, 26 April at Henfield Hall.   The bar will be open for drinks, tea and coffee from 7pm and the formal AGM starts at 7.30pm.  (And if it runs true to form the formal business will be over by about 8pm).  There will then be another half-hour to socialise and catch up with friends before our talk for the evening.   This is entitled "Big Ideas for a Small Reserve" and will be given by WWT Arundel Reserve Manager James Sharpe, and Operations Manager, Paul Stevens.   James and Paul will set out their vision for reserve management at the Arundel Wetland Centre over the next five years and I know that they will welcome feedback from ourselves on their plans.

The AGM gives you a chance to find out what your Society has been doing over the past year and to put any questions you may have to the Society's Officers, and it will finish with what promises to be a very interesting talk.   It should also be a very sociable evening.  So we hope to see as many members as possible on 26 April and we especially hope to see a few of you who have not been to an AGM before.  Do make a note of the date in your diary and do come along.

A reminder with directions to Henfield Hall will be posted a little closer to the time.
