Butterfly Conservation - Rother Woods Project

Butterfly Conservation in partnership with the Forestry Commission (and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and other funders) has instigated a ‘Rother Woods’ project as part of a wider Southeast Woodlands Project. pearlborderedfritillary.jpg

The project offers a wonderful opportunity for wildlife and for local people to get involved and it is hoped that there will be some very long lasting benefits. Although there is a butterfly and moth focus to this project, woodland birds are a crucial element in this and any involvement, information, or expertise that can be provided on the Rother Woods area would be welcomed.
