Sighting Description

This afternoon I sat inside the West Mead hide, the rain hammering on the roof, and watched three redshank (pic attached of a pair, still courting), the sole surviving lapwing chick, some 20 swallows and a sand martin flying through the deluge and distant little egrets (4) and the brood of four Egyptian geese with parents.
