Sighting Description

Waiting for a bus on Cromwell Road, Hove just now (11am), I looked up to find myself staring at a Kite. Grabbing my bins I ran down the road for a better look, and now found myself confronted by three of them! They all appeared very pale and cold-toned showing little discernible rufous; with no prior experience of Black Kite I began to get hopeful but a quick look online dispelled such wishful thinking. The birds were just above rooftop level and headed off north immediately, pursued by Herring Gulls. Put a big smile on my face.
