A quick stop at Westhampnett North Lake (11.10) produced 10+ house martins over the east side and a singing willow warbler. Then onto Drayton (11.45 - 12.35) and here it seems the two green sandpipers have moved on but I did find a common sandpiper as replacement on the eastern edge along with a greylag goose pair with 2 goslings, a grey heron, and still a pair of gadwall remain. Further breeding was evident in the form of a great crested grebe on a nest and five coot nests (three being used).
