A short walk across my local meadow flushed out about two dozen Meadow Pipits this morning. Marsh Tits calling and Chaffinches much more vocal than last week. Feeders bedecked with finches: Greenfinches, Goldfinches and a solitary female Siskin taking turns with flocks of tits in the strong breeze.
